The venue hosts full weekend events, so couples get to stay an entire weekend in a historic and eclectically decorated Inn with all the amenities. This means the couple was able to spend an entire weekend with their nearest and dearest. To save the charm of the space, we hosted rehearsal dinner at an offsite restaurant, a HUGE hit, and then an easy farewell brunch onsite to bid guests farewell and thank them for sharing in the weekend.
Personal touches. I LOVE them. So when the couple handed me so many amazing photos of them from their childhood, from their lives together, and family that couldn’t be with us on the big day, I had so much fun giving these visibility throughout the decor plans throughout the property.
When you think wedding cake, you don’t typically think of much beyond a photo moment, groom feeds bride, bride feeds groom, snap snap snap, cut and serve and maybe it's tasty, maybe it’s not. On. The. Contrary. Not looking for anything close to that standard ceremonial experience, this caterer brings the magic with what’s called “Swell Cake a la Minute”. What? Well - In under a minute, they BUILD the cake on site, right in front of your whole party. It’s messy, it’s fun, it’s magic. And it’s SO GOOD.
That first dance! Let’s just say they nailed it, start to finish.
